A clear, four-step path to becoming an FIS student. We're with you every step.

How admissions works

  1. 1

    Check eligibility

Open to enrolled members of federally recognized tribes entering grades 9-12.

  2. 2

    Submit your application

Complete the online application and upload required documents in one sitting.

  3. 3

    Talk to admissions

An admissions counselor will call within 5 business days to review your file.

  4. 4

    Receive your decision

Most students get a decision within 2-3 weeks. Travel and dorm placement follow.
